Help and support, Academic and Program Advice

The Faculty of Human Sciences has support in place to help you with your studies and above all we want you to succeed!

If you have questions relating to your program or units, please submit an enquiry through ask.mq.edu.au with the subject title 'Attn FOHS Student Centre' or come to the Faculty of Human Sciences Student Centre Building C3A, Ground Floor to talk to someone, make an appointment or arrange to be contacted by a program specialist.

Career and employment

Get individual career advice through the Career and Employment Service as well as assistance with applying for casual or full-time work. Visit the website or email careers@mq.edu.au.

Book a career appointment or resume/job application review via careerhub.mq.edu.au. Activate your account using your student OneID login and password.

Orientation and Mentoring

The Macquarie University Mentors Program connects you with a peer mentor from your own area of study who can give you the guidance and support you need to understand uni life and study at Macquarie. If you're interested in getting in contact with a mentor (or, if you're a current student and interested in becoming
one) visit the Macquarie University Mentors site or email mentors@mq.edu.au

Having difficulty with your studies?

Remember:

  • Don't take on too much work
  • Don't leave things to the last minute
  • If anything is not making sense, get help
