People, Planet and PACE form the 3 P's in your degree. These three components help give you a better view of the social and physical world, and your place in it. PACE stands for Professional and Community Engagement and it places you in the heart of your chosen career well before you graduate. Offering experiential learning through fully integrated academic units, PACE connects you with our partner organisations and gives you the opportunity to contribute your academic learning, enthusiasm and fresh perspective to their workplace.
The Faculty of Human Sciences teaches units and conducts research primarily concerned with the functioning, development and education of humans. The Faculty covers a broad range of disciplines including Linguistics, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Health, Education, and Early Childhood studies. Undertaking a PACE Placement, students will be given the opportunity to develop discipline specific skills as well as transferable generic skills such as analysis, communication, and problem solving, in preparation for further different types of employment either in Australia or overseas.
Embedding practical experience into your degree can earn you extra credits.
Provide interesting and relevant experience for PACE students and meet your organisational goals.
